Drakra Monastery, or Drakra Samten Chöling Gön, is located near Yardrok Yutso. This monastery is one of main six monasteries of ancient Nyingma tradition of Buddhism. The monastery is also one of the largest sub-monastery of Tupten Dorjé Drak Gön, and it was established by the Ratané(?) Zhap, the first Drakra reincarnation in the 17th century. The Drakra reincarnations have been both expanding the monastery, during which they have unearthed and imported many sacred representations and objects such as Buddha and Jetsün Milarepa statues. The monastery also owns a whole page of Lopön Vairotsana’s handwriting. 

 

བྲག་རྭ་དགོན་ནམ་བྲག་ར་བསམ་གཏན་ཆོས་གླིང་དགོན་ནི་ཡར་འབྲོག་གཡུ་མཚོའི་འགྲམ་དུ་ཆགས་ཡོད་པ་དང་། དགོན་འདི་ནི་སྔ་འགྱུར་རྙིང་མའི་གདན་ས་ཆེན་པོ་དྲུག་གི་ཡ་གྱལ་ཐུབ་བསྟན་རྡོ་རྗེ་བྲག་དགོན་གྱི་བུ་དགོན་ཆེ་གྲས་ཤིག་ཡིན་ཞིང་། སྤྱི་ལོའི་དུས་རབས་བཅུ་བདུན་པར་བྲག་རྭ་སྐུ་ཕྲེང་དང་པོ་རཏྞའི་ཞབས་ཀྱིས་ཕྱག་བཏབ་པ་རེད། བྲག་རྭ་སྐུ་ཕྲེང་རིམ་བྱོན་གྱིས་གདན་ས་བསྐྱངས་ཏེ་དགོན་པ་རྒྱ་བསྐྱེད་གནང་བ་དང་། སྐུ་འདྲ་གཏེར་མ་དང་སྐུ་གསུང་ཐུགས་རྟེན་མང་པོ་འདིར་གདན་དྲངས་པ་རེད། ནང་རྟེན་ལ་སྟོན་པ་དང་རྗེ་བཙུན་མི་ལ་རས་པའི་སྐུ་བརྙན། སློབ་དཔོན་བེ་རོ་ཙཱ་ནའི་ཕྱག་བྲིས་ཤོག་ཧྲིལ་སོགས་བཞུགས་ཡོད།

 

扎热寺位于羊卓雍错湖畔。该寺是古代宁玛派佛教传统的主要六大寺之一,本寺也是土登多吉扎寺的最大的分寺之一。在公元17世纪有第一世扎热活佛建造的。历代的扎热活佛门推广寺院和迎来了许多佛像 - 有佛陀和米拉日巴尊者的像等, 还有一张维若译师的笔迹。
