Gyümé Dratsang is located in the center of Lhasa city in the Tibetan Autonomous Region, on the west side of Meru Monastery. Sherap Senggé, a student of Tsongkhapa built the monastery in the 15th century in accordance with his master’s prophecy. There, Sherap Senggé lectured and gave teachings on Gyükyi Chenyen for thirteen years, and thereafter it became the main study site for abbots from the three great monasteries of Geluk sect.

རྒྱུད་སྨད་གྲྭ་ཚང་ནི་བོད་རང་སྐྱོང་ལྗོངས་ལྷ་ས་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་གྱི་དཀྱིལ་དུ་ཆགས་ཡོད་པ་དང་། རྨེ་རུ་དགོན་པའི་ནུབ་ངོས་སུ་ཡོད། དགོན་པ་འདི་ནི་སྤྱི་ལོའི་དུས་རབས་བཅོ་ལྔ་པར་རྗེ་ཙོང་ཁ་པའི་དངོས་སློབ་རྗེ་ཤེས་རབ་སེང་གེས་རྗེ་རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་ལུང་བསྟན་ལྟར་ཕྱག་བཏབ་པ་རེད། གྲྭ་ཚང་འདིར་རྗེ་ཤེས་རབ་སེང་གེས་རྒྱུད་ཀྱི་འཆད་ཉན་ལོ་ངོ་བཅུ་གསུམ་ལྷག་ལ་བསྐྱངས་པ་དང་། གདན་ས་གསུམ་གྱི་དགེ་བཤེས་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་རྒྱུད་ཀྱི་ཕྱོགས་ལ་འཆད་ཉན་གནང་ས་གཙོ་བོའང་དགོན་པ་འདི་ཡིན།

居麦扎仓或下密院位于西藏自治区拉萨市中心，木如寺的西边。这座寺庙是公元15世纪有宗喀巴的弟子西绕森格按照大师的预言而兴建的。西绕森格在这座学院里持续了十三年的密宗讲解与教诲，并且这座寺院成了拉萨三大寺的主要听教处。
