Drametse Middle Secondary School building
The school is located on a slope near the majestic monastery called Dramitse Lhakhang. History has it that Drametse Monastery was founded by the great Terton Pema Lingpa’s grand daughter Ani Choeten Zangmo, who ran away from Bumthang to escape a proposal of marriage from a local king. She ran away to the east and reached the place that was ideally suited for meditation and religious practice.
