The fourth Gangteng Trülku, Tenzin Sizhi Namgyal was born in Wang, Thimphu in 1759. The 5th Peling Trülku Tenzin Drupchu Dorji recognized the child as the reincarnation of the previous Gangteng Trülku and gave him the auspicious name of Tenzin Sizhi Namgyal.
