Generally, chibdral is a ceremonial procession to welcome highest-ranking people and chief guests during occasions and festivals. Bhutan has three levels of chibdral and it is prepared and performed according to the level of the guest depending the impotance of the event and occasion. Introduction of chibdral in Bhutan dates back to the time of Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal.
