The views of Kheri Gonpa
This is a picture of Kheri Gonpa above Pemagatshel town. The real name of this place is Khari Gonpa. It got the name Khari Gonpa because when the Lam Khedrup Kinga Wangpo visited the place in the year 1534. He thought that there was no water and than rest on a stone at the bottom of the hill. Meanwhile a bird appeared infront of him and sprinkles water and flew away to the top of the hill. Lama
